In the past twenty-four hours, 103 new deaths due to coronavirus occurred, most of which were elderly patients with an underlying illness, bringing the total to 2,596. There are also 4,140 new registered cases, bringing the total to 118,918. There have been 27,585 recoveries and 1,238,467 tests. There are 88,737 active infections, 6,153 of whom are hospitalized, and 461 of whom are on ventilators.
There is currently a curfew from 8pm-5am, and the economy’s reopening is restricted. Educational institutions for students 14 and older will move to distance learning. There is a maximum of ten people allowed at private gatherings, and sports events will need to take place behind closed doors. Parking has been made free to discourage the use of public transportation.
