It appears as if Hungary may be reaching the light at the end of the tunnel in its fight against the coronavirus. Parliament voted to lift the state of emergency on Tuesday, although it wants to remain prepared as the decline in cases is quite gradual.
As of June 17, there have been 567 fatalities and 4,078 infections, 964 of which are active. 2,547 have recovered from a hospitalization. 210 are being treated, 16 of whom are on ventilators. Additionally, there are 7,545 in quarantine. In all, 242,138 have been tested.
