Polish enterprise minister wants trade with Turkey to double

Poland’s enterprise minister said on Thursday she hoped bilateral trade between her country and Turkey would double within four years to USD 10 billion annually.

Jadwiga Emilewicz was speaking at a Polish-Turkish Business Forum in Warsaw.

"Poland and Turkey are societies which are … hungry for success and which want to increase their trade," Emilewicz said.

According to the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, Turkey was last year the 16th-largest supplier of goods to Poland and the 20th-largest importer of Polish goods.
