First and foremost we hope you and your families are safe and healthy. Secondly, we hope your businesses, employers and organizations that make your economies go are surviving as well. Finally, of course, we hope your governments are acting in your best interest and managing the crisis responsibly for all concerned.
We at InvestCEE are fine. As you probably know, we are 100% run by faculty, students and alumni of Quinnipiac University. We have all been challenged and I personally didn't mange or edit InvestCEE much in the past couple of weeks. But, we're getting moving again and we'll add more content.
Today I posted a great short piece by Jack French who does our stock market reports. Take a look https://www.investcee.com/post/cee-stock-market-report-for-march-9-march-20
As things continue to change daily, I will see if our Econ Research team can post more often. During these isolated times we tend to focus on our immediate world. Seeing what's happening in one country relative to others is always insightful. Sometimes we're all in it together. Other times we can see something really is just happening in one country or another.
We will obviously report on the effects of the COVID-19 crisis as it unfolds. But we are not the right source for the latest on the crisis. We are your source to check from time to time on how the economies in the CEE region are doing and for some of the latest news from the region.
For now, let's all hope this passes soon!
Thank you and sincerest best wishes,
