Hungary to attempt to reduce administrative burden on businesses

The Ministry of Innovation and Technology has decided to accept the proposal put forth by the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to reduce administrative burdens on small and medium-sized businesses in order to make them more competitive internationally. The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry conducted a survey in March and April to identify which administrative burdens are the most cumbersome. The study found that the tax and tender system is complex and unpredictable and that the notarial fees are high for financial products, especially for crisis-related services. The study also found that companies are becoming more confident in public administration.
