According to the Slovakian Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI), economic sentiment within the country significantly improved in March 2021. That was evident from a 7.9 point increase in the ESI from the previous month to a total of 85.6. The rise is largely attributed to greater consumer confidence in services and international trade. Additionally, this change in consumer favorability derives from an expected increase in production throughout the upcoming economic quarter.
