Many congratulations to Connecticut's own attorney Dana R Bucin, Chair of the Murtha Cullina Immigration Practice and Romanian Honorary Consul to the state of Connecticut.

Dana is a long-time advocate for cross-border trade, especially trans-Atlantic trade and especially with her home country of Romania. On October 4th in Bucovina, Romania, Dana was recognized as one of the Top 100 Romanians from All Over the World for her contributions to supporting Romanians and promoting Romania worldwide and overall recognizing her excellence in her field (Romanian language site is here: ).

The event was attended by more than 200 Romanians from around the world, representatives of the local authorities and of the Presidency and businessmen from Romania.

For those of us who've known and worked with Dana over the years, this comes as no surprise! The recognition adds to her list of accolades: In 2019, Dana was named the "Attorney of the Year" by the Connecticut Law Tribune and she has previously received the "40 under 40" award from the Hartford Business Journal, and the "New Leaders in the Law" and the "Women in the Law High Achievers" award from the Connecticut Law Tribune.

Dana co-founded CEENET in 2011 to promote cross-boarder trade between Connecticut and Central Europe, especially Romania, and continues to be a leader in the Connecticut international community today. But, of course, recognition by Romania is especially close to Dana's heart and we are all proud to know and work with her and wish her much continued success.
